Summertime favorite
Flounder is one of the most popular fish we catch from May to September. They are hard fighting, fun fish to catch and if you catch a keeper 18″ we can fillet your fish for dinner.
Blue claw by the Bushel
Like our flounder, Crab is available during the summer season. You can fish by hand line, trap or even crab pot if you have a crabbing license which is inexpensive. Head out for a lazy day with the kids and throw out some lines for a good time.
Bluefish Blitz
Bluefish have been invading our bay the last few years. We have had big schools of gator blues and large schools of snappers all summer long. When the baitfish are around the blues have been biting.
Spring Stripers
In the Bay by the bridges, we catch Striped Bass during the migrations with Spot, Eels, Bunker, and Clams. Occasionally resident Striper is caught for a big Suprise.
Tautog in the bay!
The sneaky, lighting fast bite of the Blackfish is addictive. We use green crab and clam to catch the most frustrating fish in South Jersey. Definitely one of the best achievements is a big Tautog after a epic battle in the bay.
So many Sea Bass
Lots of action when the Sea Bass arrive. Many small fish fill the bay for an exciting day with the family. Keeper Sea Bass have been caught in the Bay and they fight hard.
My granddaughter and I rented kayaks from Scott’s and had a great time. The equipment was practically brand new and the young man that helped us couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Really made for a super fun outing!
